  • Physical volcanology: deformation and strain on volcanic and geodynamic areas, deformation modelling of volcanic sources for several eruptions, theoretical model of deformation and strain produced by eruptions, multi-parametric studies of volcanic processes.
  • Geophysics applied to volcanology, Volcano geodesy ,borehole tiltmeters and strainmeter).
  • Monitoring networks managing. Implementation of new technology for the high precision monitoring of ground deformation, deep borehole installations.
  • Eruption management and volcano hazard assessment during major eruptions.
