Federica Torrisi and Claudia Corradino visited Thales Alenia Space Italia at the Turin site as part of the 2024/25 edition of the QST Master’s program. Both researchers from the TechnoLab are currently carrying out their internship activities within the training program offered by the Master.

The activity is supervised by Prof. E. Paladino and Prof. L. Giannelli (DFA UniCT), together with Dr. Tommaso Catuogno, Alessandro Grilli, and Mattia Verducci for Thales.

Their work focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of a hybrid Quantum Convolutional Neural Network (QCNN), based on quantum circuits, for the analysis of satellite images.
