TechnoLab participated in the International Conference THEMES25, held at Ca' Foscari in Venice from November 12-14, 2025.

The conference focused on “Long-term trends, abrupt shifts, and extreme events in oceanic and atmospheric variability”. Since 2015, THEMES has united climatologists, ecologists, oceanographers, and modelers to advance the measurement and prediction of Earth's environmental evolution, aiming to foster interdisciplinary cooperation.

Vito Zago had a talk entitled "Technologies for predicting volcanic impacts on climate" (Zago V., E. Amato, L. Basile, S. Cariello, A. Malaguti, F. Torrisi, C. Del Negro).
The presentation outlined the innovative technologies currently under development at TechnoLab, focusing on the application of ML and QC to the management of simulated and measured data, for a quantitative study of the impact of volcanoes on climate, within the framework of the DEMETRA project.
