Research summary

My research interests are in Computational Dynamics, focusing on the study of fluid-solid interaction and complex fluids, specifically lava flows. I'm currently working on the development of AI-based emulators of Lagrangian methods to enhance simulation performance and functionalities of numerical simulations. My main contributions are in the numerical stability of the SPH method in applications to stiff equations, as in the case of highly-viscous fluids, including the development of specific integration schemes, the implementation of mechanical and thermal boundary condition models, and the coupling between numerical methods.
